Privacy Policy
What we collect
ClearExamPapers collects minimal technical and usage data. Specifically:
- Page views and downloads — we log the paper URL, the event type (view or download), your hashed IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring URL. Hashes use a daily-rotating salt that we do not persist, so the logs cannot be used to track an individual across days.
- Aggregate analytics — we use self-hosted Umami, which records the page URL, country (at country level only), anonymized IP, browser, and OS. Umami does not set tracking cookies.
What we do not collect
- We do not use tracking cookies.
- We do not have user accounts, so we do not collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information — unless you voluntarily contact us by email, in which case we only store what you send us.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer data to third parties. (This may change when we enable advertising. If it does, we will update this policy and add a cookie consent banner before any ad network starts loading.)
Your rights under PDPA
ClearExamPapers is operated in Singapore and subject to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) . You can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing contact@clearexampapers.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
